Judge Rules Against Intelligent Design in Pennsylvania

Judge John Jones (if that's his REAL name) has ruled that teaching "intelligent design" would violate the Constitutional separation of church and state:
"We have concluded that it is not [science], and moreover that ID cannot uncouple itself from its creationist, and thus religious, antecedents," Jones writes in his 139-page opinion posted on the court's Web site.
"To be sure, Darwin's theory of evolution is imperfect. However, the fact that a scientific theory cannot yet render an explanation on every point should not be used as a pretext to thrust an untestable alternative hypothesis grounded in religion into the science classroom or to misrepresent well-established scientific propositions," Jones writes.
This is a TRAVESTY of justice. Everyone knows that humans cannot evolve; the Sun Mother gave us a piece of her consciousness so that alone of all the animals we would not wish to change our shapes. The Sun Mother said it, I believe it, and that settles it.

As a Pagan, I have to say that my own beliefs, while fitting quite well with the Darwin's theories, would also include seeing things as being created by the Gods. In my mixed-up little world, I see no reason why all these different views of the creation of the world (& universe, & peoples) can't be going on in different dimensions all at the same time - even while monkeys evolve in our own strange little dimension. Twisted, huh??
The day that those who seek to push Intelligent Design are willing to admit that Ymir was licked from the ice by Audhumla the Cow & that the world was made from his body after his demise (and that humans emerged from his armpits); that Nut & Geb had to be forcibly separated into a separate Earth & Sky to prevent their constant coupling ;-) }:-) while humanity was ejaculated forth by Min :-O ; that Eurynome created sea & sky from the snakes of Chaos & hatched the World from an egg, while the Meliae, ash tree nymphs who were the daughters of Niobe, produced human beings as fruit; that Pangu was born from the nothingness in a giant egg which he split to form the Earth & Sky, while his body became all the parts of nature upon his death and that later, Nu Kua formed humanity from yellow clay - on that day, we can talk seriously with them about Intelligent Design. :-)
