Merry Meet to All;
What do you wear as in jewellery, many young people tend to wear the Pentacle I only like to wear it when doing Rituals or spellwork, we are all individuals thats makes us all unique and special to the Goddess and God, so we all have different preferences for what we wear in public.
My own jewellery choice was given to me by a wonderful witchy friend, a triple moon pendant representing the three aspects of the Goddess, to me that means more to me than wearing the Pentacle, also I like the Celtic symbols as well that are worn to represent the Goddess and God or protection symbols.
What do you prefer to wear in Public!!! for me personally its the Triple Moon pendant with a Moonstone in the centre, only true Wiccans or pagans know what the symbol represents.
The pentacle to me is used for protection, and rituals and only should be worn by those who know what it truly represents to themselves as an individual.
"The pentagram, a protection symbol is in the shape of a five pointed star . The pentagram represents the five elements, earth, air, fire, water and the top point of the pentagram corresponds to spirit. The symbol is over 8,000 years old.
EARTH: Lower left hand corner, stability, growth, nurturing.
WATER: Upper right hand corner, intuition, healing life s blood, feminine powers
FIRE: Lower right hand corner, Action/Reaction, masculine powers.
AIR: Upper left hand corner, Communications, Intellect.
SPIRIT: The Top point, the guiding force.
A circle surrounding a five-pointed, upright star (known as a pentagram). Worn as a symbol of a Witch's belief and used in magickal workings and ceremonies. Each point on the star has a specific meaning: Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. Pentacles are never worn inverted in the Craft. Witches consider this blasphemy of their faith. However, an inverted pentagram is used in some second degree initiations, not to indicate evil, but to fulfill a function of growth."

I wear a pentacle that was given to me. I wear it for ritual and meditation, and whenever I feel I want or need to. In public I wear that and a sterling "prayer basket" that was given to me for my croning. I rarely have any problem with other people wearing my pentacle like some other people have. I wear this to work often. If I feel someone is uncomfortable with seeing it I put it under my shirt.
I work in a hospital with sick people. On three occasions, I was asked to do some "energy" work, or ritual work with someone who was ill. I was asked because the people, or thier family saw my pentacle.
I have a kind of ritual that I do mentally when I put it on. I chant the elements, ask a blessing of the Deities, then slip it over my head with a prayer. When I remove it, I thank the Deities and elements for assisting me through the day and whatever happened.
I am in the process of making my own. I am going to make it of 24k gold, and perhaps set stones representing the elements in it.
Bright blessings
