Howdy folks! I have been Wiccan for the last 8 years and regretfully confess I haven't practiced the belief for approx. 3 of them. Now I come to the table in need of assistence and (gulp) help. My fiance' has a brother who for as long as he can remember has been "haunted" by visions and dreams influenced by a being that (from my understanding) calls itself "Archaos" (Ark-a-o-is).

Merry Met all! I was wondering if anyone had any spells to help you get through a divorce, I have been separated for 6 months now, and am currently going through one. Also any advice would help. I have been having problems with being alone and it is hard for me to get used to being my own person again instead of being more closely connected with someone.

Sometimes, from our vantage point here on the Earth, a planet will appear to move backwards through the sky. This is called a retrograde. It plays havoc with whatever areas of life the planet rules over. Mercury does this 3 times a year, screwing up our communications, contracts, mechanical stuff, travel, etc.

This is an easy way to keep your life moving (fairly) smoothly during Mercury's backwards time.

This little spell has served me well! It works to keep negativity from affecting you. I've often used as a targeted spell (meaning, focused toward someone in particular to keep their nastiness at bay), but it will also work to remove negativity in general. This spell is adaptable and can be included in other workings - try it as part of a major house cleansing or along with any kind of banishing work you need to do.

Make a mixture of orange flower water, rose water, and honey. Add to this nine lumps of sugar on each of which you have written his name first and then yours. Burn a pink candle in this mixture every day for nine days.

I've always said that spells are prayers with props; they're part request and part affirmation.

This spell is especially effective for any kind of harrassment or bad energy directed at you. I successfully used it in a legal proceeding brought against me by someone who wanted to force me into bankruptcy. This is best performed during the waning moon but in a pinch any time will do.
