2006 by the Stars

Submitted by Grandmother Spider on Thu, 12/22/2005 - 12:26am.

First off, my dears, a Blessed Yuletide to you and yours. We ate a big-ass ham with cranberries and potatoes, opened presents, ate no-flour chocolate cake for dessert, and are currently basking in the afterglow. I love being Pagan.

We look from this darkest night into the approaching (secular) New Year. According to Beliefnet's astrologer, 2006 may be interesting in the Chinese sense of the term:

[W]ill 2006 be all sunshine and roses? Hardly. But the conflicts will be colorful, and with the intense hilarity and richness of Jupiter in Scorpio in hard aspect to Saturn in Leo through much of the year, the tension could be downright entertaining. That is, if the climate of heightened religious fervor doesn’t intoxicate us all. Most of all, the frustration that many people are experiencing at the moment will yield joyful experiences, revelations, epiphanies, and reasons to celebrate before the year is through.

Out of practice Wiccan looking for help.

Submitted by Army Kid on Fri, 08/05/2005 - 12:20pm.

Howdy folks! I have been Wiccan for the last 8 years and regretfully confess I haven't practiced the belief for approx. 3 of them. Now I come to the table in need of assistence and (gulp) help. My fiance' has a brother who for as long as he can remember has been "haunted" by visions and dreams influenced by a being that (from my understanding) calls itself "Archaos" (Ark-a-o-is).

Playing tricks on our minds

An interesting article about Mercury Retrograde, which is going on right now (if you haven't noticed!!) and has a fairly decent explanation of what it is.

What the stars say about the U.S. political stage and the upcoming Olympic games in Athens

By Shelley L. Ackerman

Today, as the world anticipates Summer 2004's Olympic Games in Athens, and the U.S. readies itself for the Democratic and Republican Conventions, there's talk of super-heightened security for travelers, concern for those on their way to Greece, and talk of how a terrorist attack might influence the Presidential elections. Many "what if" scenarios are being bantered about, leaving people uneasy and more perplexed than usual. Though the world is polarized, it's summertime. And what should follow is: 'and the livin' is easy.' We should be able to put our differences aside for a spell and soak up the healing and exhilarating one-world-feeling rush that a multinational sports event generates, right?

What's your sign(s)?

Submitted by Berkana on Mon, 12/29/2003 - 12:44am.

I thought it might be interesting to compare charts, so to speak. You can learn a lot about someone from a peek at their natal chart...

So, what's your Sun Sign? What's your Rising Sign? What's your Moon Sign?

Musings on the Universe

Submitted by Schuylar on Tue, 07/29/2003 - 11:25am.

I pulled out the natal chart that Medusa did for me a couple of years ago. It's amazing how much is accurate for me. A friend of mine read it, as well, and started giggling and making comments like "I wonder who THAT would be!", with my innocent "I have no idea what you are talking about. It couldn't be me!".
