Out of practice Wiccan looking for help.

Submitted by Army Kid on Fri, 08/05/2005 - 12:20pm.

Howdy folks! I have been Wiccan for the last 8 years and regretfully confess I haven't practiced the belief for approx. 3 of them. Now I come to the table in need of assistence and (gulp) help. My fiance' has a brother who for as long as he can remember has been "haunted" by visions and dreams influenced by a being that (from my understanding) calls itself "Archaos" (Ark-a-o-is).

SAO PAULO, Brazil (Reuters) - Matthew Barney has choreographed dancing girls, filmed a demolition derby inside the Chrysler Building and dressed up like Harry Houdini all in the name of art.

In his latest work, the acclaimed U.S. artist, whose work melds scultpural installations with performance and video, is delving into the heart of Afro-Brazilian culture to expound on his vision of the creative process, the destruction of nature and cycle of life.

The Museum Of Bad Art (MOBA)

Submitted by Berkana on Sun, 09/19/2004 - 1:32am.

"The Museum Of Bad Art (MOBA) is the world's only museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its forms."

This is the online virtual gallery for The Museum Of Bad Art in Massachussetts. Gracing the front page is the classic painting, Lucy In The Field with Flowers - a true example of the bad art genre. All the descriptions are amusing, as are the stories that go along with the art (when known). I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this virtual shrine to art that should never have been.

Fossil findings blur picture of art's birth

Who created the earliest artwork?

For years archaeologists have clung to the idea that only truly modern humans were artists, and that our Neanderthal cousins spent their entire evolutionary lifetime as boorish philistines. But fresh analysis of a prized set of human bones has dealt a body blow to this cherished theory.
