Out of practice Wiccan looking for help.

Howdy folks! I have been Wiccan for the last 8 years and regretfully confess I haven't practiced the belief for approx. 3 of them. Now I come to the table in need of assistence and (gulp) help. My fiance' has a brother who for as long as he can remember has been "haunted" by visions and dreams influenced by a being that (from my understanding) calls itself "Archaos" (Ark-a-o-is).

Ecstatic Dance
Ritual Embodied
by Dianne Sylvan

I haven't danced in days, and my body is tired of being patient, tired of waiting for my mind to catch up. I give in, like I always do, knowing my muscles know best.

Dressed in sarong and sports bra, I light the candles on top of my television and reach into the little box from South America to find a vial of oil labeled "Sweat Your Prayers." I anoint wrists, heart, third eye, and belly, then take a moment to breathe, stilling my mind, letting my awareness sink into my feet.

The prayer is spontaneous, the invocation brief: "Lady of the Earth, Lord of the Dance, this is my offering..."

Bellydance!

Anyone into Bellydance? It's the most beautiful, sensuous, organic dance form. I find it becomes addicting. You find muscles in your hips and waist that you never knew you had, and you discover movable parts in you hips that have never moved before! I'm starting to incorporate it into ritual. It's not a big jump. The dance is already sacred to many Goddesses, and has been used in ritual for millenia. It's also easy to trance out while dancing.
