Out of practice Wiccan looking for help.

Submitted by Army Kid on Fri, 08/05/2005 - 12:20pm.

Howdy folks! I have been Wiccan for the last 8 years and regretfully confess I haven't practiced the belief for approx. 3 of them. Now I come to the table in need of assistence and (gulp) help. My fiance' has a brother who for as long as he can remember has been "haunted" by visions and dreams influenced by a being that (from my understanding) calls itself "Archaos" (Ark-a-o-is).

Diary of Ancient Rites

Diary of Ancient Rites, A Guide for the Serious Practitioner, explores the rituals knowledge of the past and the history leading up to the Christian sect becoming the dominant religion of the world. Why did King James leave certain tracts of the Dead Sea scrolls out of his translation? What happened to the existing spiritual groups? This book address many aspects of spiritualism as well as teaches the reader how to use what the creator gave them to reclaim their heritage.

Magical Madrone

Submitted by Mugwort on Sun, 07/13/2003 - 9:40am.

Yesterday while riding my Harley, I noticed that in some places the road was covered with golden Madrone leaves. As I rode through these patches I watched in my rear-view mirror at all those leaves swirling in my wake. Looking up in the canopy I noticed that the Madrone trees were green dappled with gold, and I realized that it is once again that time of year when the older leaves of this broad-leaf evergreen are dropped. The Madrone does not drop all its leaves like most broadleaf trees, only the older leaves are dropped, just another unusual trait for this very unusual tree.
