Out of practice Wiccan looking for help.Submitted by Army Kid on Fri, 08/05/2005 - 12:20pm.
Howdy folks! I have been Wiccan for the last 8 years and regretfully confess I haven't practiced the belief for approx. 3 of them. Now I come to the table in need of assistence and (gulp) help. My fiance' has a brother who for as long as he can remember has been "haunted" by visions and dreams influenced by a being that (from my understanding) calls itself "Archaos" (Ark-a-o-is). Tracking Tricks and TreatsSubmitted by Berkana on Wed, 11/03/2004 - 12:33am.
Tracking Tricks and Treats The distinction between "candy" and "Halloween candy" can be summed up this way: The latter is exactly the same as the former, only there's more of it. According to the National Confectioners Association, whose Candy USA is almost everything you could ever want in a Web site devoted to the subject of candy in the U.S.A., Halloween is the busiest candy-buying season of the year. (Easter is a pale shadow in comparison, moving a mere $1,856,000,000 of sweets last year in comparison to Halloween's mighty $1,983,000,000.) ( categories: General Mayhem )
Prayer RequestSubmitted by Solstice on Wed, 09/08/2004 - 10:15pm.
Hi, Perhaps this is soposed to be somewhere else, but I couldn't find it and I haven't a lot of time right now to research. I wanted to ask that everyone remember in their prayers, a friend of mine who was critically hurt in a head-on collision in NH this past weekend. He is a very special person, a physician, who demonstrated extrordinary careing and concern for all of us at the hospital where I work. Presently he is in very critical condition, on a ventilator, with head and internal injuries and multiple fractures. The latest word was that there was some improvement but he is still very critical. Finding my way HomeSubmitted by Nightwolf on Thu, 06/10/2004 - 10:44am.
So I've been lost for over two years and have finally found the path Home although it was never missing. Apparently I was ignoring it. How I lost myself I have yet to figure out. There was a time when the wolf spirit was right at my side and showed himself when I asked for help. The full moon called on a warm summer night and I knew in the woods there were friends. Hard living in this world with all of it's distractions. ( categories: General Mayhem )
Long time, no updateSubmitted by creidwy on Mon, 01/12/2004 - 5:01pm.
I'm back living in Colorado, and it's good to be back. We also moved into a [tiny] new house, where there isn't any room for an altar or anything. My room takes up half my room alone. ( categories: General Mayhem )
Wow Spider Lady!Submitted by Berkana on Sun, 01/11/2004 - 6:13am.
I was only-gone--for---a----DAY and everything went all caddywompus on me! Ack! :-S Not that it's a bad thing or anything... you just shook my world up. Glad to see you back around. I thought maybe you were still feeling poorly - I didn't realize that you were actually up to something here... ( categories: General Mayhem )
The Book!Submitted by Berkana on Fri, 12/05/2003 - 4:35pm.
I was tinkering around with the collaborative book today, and I thought I would mention what a great idea I think this is! It's not something you see elsewhere. ( categories: General Mayhem )

I caught myself in a random thought stream the other day at work. I was thinking about petrified wood. ( categories: General Mayhem )
My musings of late - impermanenceSubmitted by Berkana on Thu, 08/28/2003 - 5:29am.
I've been dwelling a lot lately on the impermanence of life. The cycle spins always, but sometimes it's as if you can see every movement of the wheel. I pondered for some time the possibility that there may be something about this new millenium. It's as if the new beginning on the calendar has inspired a grand period of birth and death. Knowing that ours isn't the only calendar ever used - not even today, and that even among those who use this calendar it's not followed exactly, I now doubt if it really has anything to do with a date on the wall. The Universe isn't that tame! ( categories: General Mayhem )
